Out 'n' About Treehouse Resort

Our 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023 Treehouse Trips were so awesome that we're going back in the summer of 2025. The resort has 15 treehouses and we reserve the entire place, but reservations are made a year in advance. So in June 2024 we need to get our act together.

The 2025 Trip

We will try to book as many weekends as we can fill up, most likely in July or August 2025. We'll drive down to Southern Oregon and the Treesort on a Friday and drive home on Monday (3-night minimum and it has to be Fri-Sun nights). The excursion includes three nights in a treehouse plus an excursion on Sunday. The estimated average cost will be around $800 per family. Each treehouse has a different nightly cost, however, so your total cost will depend on your treehouse. reservation & DRAFT ORDER

A number of factors will be considered regarding invitations for Duniway Family Camp 2025. Past attendees, RSVP order, speed of deposits, family-size matching with available treehouses... This is an art and a science, people.

Deposit

  • We have to pay a 50% deposit when we book the vacation a year in advance.

  • Your deposit is due immediately when you RSVP. RSVP and pay your deposit at the same time to reserve your place.

  • This year’s deposit is $420 ($400 treehouse deposit) + $20 service fee to cover any incidentals).

  • We will hold our Treehouse draft in August 2024. The process this year:

    • When you choose your treehouse, we’ll be asking for full payment for your reservation. If your treehouse 3-night stay full cost is $700, you will owe an additional $300 at the time of the draft.

    • Why? Late cancellations don’t give us time to find a replacement. So we’ve had empty treehouses each year with only half-deposits, leaving half to be paid by the rest of the group.

    • You will receive a full refund (deposit + service fee) if a replacement can be found.

  • Pay options:

  • If the dates we are assigned don’t work for you, we will refund your deposit if requested before 7/31/2024. After that, we'll refund if/when we find a replacement.

  • You settle up your final bill at checkout from Treehouses, but you will have a $400 credit from your deposit.
